|Week Two|

img_2117Here is something I’ve been learning over the last two weeks. I am my only competition. It’s up to me if I eat right, drink water, and walk every day. No one else can do it for me, no one else can talk me into it. It’s up to me and me alone. I’m pretty excited because I’m getting to the point where it is easy to say no to the foods that aren’t good for me. It’s getting easier to come home get dressed in my work out clothes and go walk. It’s getting easier to not miss soda. I’m starting to get addicted to the results I’ve been getting and how amazing I’ve been feeling over all. I think for the first time in a long time I’ve come to the place where this health style is going to stick. For the first time I’m doing this for me and not because I feel like I have too and Gabe has been my motivation. I need to do this to be healthier and to keep up with my toddler 😉 He’s quite the cute little handful!

img_2119Here’s a quick update! I’m down 11.6 lbs. in two weeks. I’ve worked pretty hard to accomplish this with even a couple of oops days and non walking days! But here’s the thing even though I didn’t walk Friday or Saturday, I didn’t let that get me down! Sunday, I showed up and got in an hour of walking, which felt great and tonight I walked 30 minutes! This week I’m doing intermittent fasting! Today was a bit rough. The last two weeks I’ve ate breakfast every day, so when I fasted today and didn’t eat breakfast, I missed it more than I thought I would lol. But here’s to being strong and showing up to get those results!
